Looking from the cliff path towards Solva,
foxgloves growing on the cliff top above Porth-y-Rhaw.
The green grassy slopes (mid picture) are the remains of embankments from an iron age
fort
while the island Green Scar (center) marks the entrance to Solva harbour.
Broad Haven can be seen on the other side of St Brides Bay on the horizon.
Autumn
During the autumn time stunning
sunsets can be enjoyed, as seen here from the cliff top at Porth-y-Rhaw
with the sun setting over Ramsey Island.
Winter
The North Atlantic Drift helps to keep the
winters mild, but stormy seas are a regular occurrence as seen here at
Porth-y-Rhaw.

Spring
The millers track leads from the
cottage along the valley floor to the cove of Porth-y-Rhaw,
some 6 minutes walk away, from where the long distance coastal footpath can be
joined.

Summer
Midway along the 176 mile long
Pembrokeshire coast path, the little rocky cove of Porth-y-Rhaw is passed.
